In 2010 a retelling of the famous (and cult classic) Clash of the Titans hit theatres, starring Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, Ralph Fiennes, and Liam Neeson. To put it mildly, the film was a bust of epic proportions–even if it made money it pissed off a great deal of fans, critics, and the like. I recall stating in my review of the film that your money would be better spent on lottery tickets. A sequel is being released on March 30, 2012, Wrath Of The Titans and by the looks of the trailers it seems to be a great improvement.

To put it mildly, the film was a bust of epic proportions–even if it made money it pissed off a great deal of fans, critics, and the like. I recall stating in my review of the film that your money would be better spent on lottery tickets. Yes, I was among the scores who loathed the film and everything about it being a re-make of the classic Clash of the Titans from 1981 with Harry Hamlin and Sir Laurence Olivier. As it goes in Hollywood a sequel can come along for even the worst of films, and it is with great hope that Wrath Of The Titans will not be another huge letdown like its lead-in film. Judging from the trailers that have been released it does look like the action has been magnified, the effects more polished, and the soundtrack given a great boost. Fingers crossed!
Update (again)! More clips from the film have been released. Have a look…
Film Clip, ‘We Are Brothers, But Not Equal’
