Where are those pesky WMD's? Good question. The answer is even better. In "Green Zone" an Army Chief (Roy Miller, played by Matt Damon) leads his Unit on the search for WMD's (weapons of mass destruction) in Iraq. After his intelligence keeps coming up short, and completely incorrect, he begins to question just how accurate a source his Country (the USA) is using. This is where the fun begins. The story turns into a full fledged action-packed suspense thriller with twists and turns and cover-ups. It questions who the real enemies are and who you can trust, what information is valid and what is fabricated, and whether the choices made were done logically or without basis leading to a twist at the end that will have you wanting to discuss the possibility, and probability, for hours afterwards. The movie is not anti-American but it makes some serious attacks upon the integrity of the United States' government's personnel while at the same time glorifying other members of the U.S. Government whose intentions are not solely fueled by the desire for power and absolute control. Dealing with a sensitive subject it attempts to answer a question many Americans' have been asking since the failure to locate WMD's occurred years ago and it does it splendidly.

War is messy, loud, and destructive. So is the action in this movie; as it should be of course as this is a war film. Even if the so called war is over.
