In 2008, FilmFracture launched with one goal: To provide honest film reviews with the reader’s time in mind. As our old saying goes, “Sometimes you just want to watch something blow up.” We’re still doing that, and much more.
FilmFracture continues to deliver engaging, honest, and insightful film reviews based on our clock ratings system (time is short — we get that), and ruleless features where the occasional venting may take place, or geek-out.
Since inception, FilmFracture’s had a plethora of talented contributors, and our current film critics are amazing (we may be a bit bias, but who cares, this isn’t a film review). And we know that sometimes you, our readers, want to reach out to a member of our team directly.
And here’s a well-known secret: We like hearing from our readers! Or if you’re shy (email can be scary, after all), follow one or all of us on social media. However you keep in touch, we’re happy you’re along for the movie-filled ride.
Kathryn Schroeder, Managing Editor
As the founder of FilmFracture, Kathryn has spent plenty of time in the dark scribbling notes she can usually decipher afterwards. And trying to not spill her gummy bears. You can also find her covering culture and lifestyle for OZY, and tweaking content behind the scenes as an editor for various other websites where her name is never in lights.
Kathryn is an MPAA accredited journalist.
