Bucky Larson: Born To Be A Star, The Initial Buzz on What Looks to be The Worst Film of 2011
By Kathryn Schroeder
September 6, 2011

Bucky Larson: Born to be A Star is releasing this Friday, September 9th, 2011 in theatres across the country.  In an attempt to see what "buzz" surrounded the film I turned to Twitter.  Here are some of my favorite's tweets, and possibly the source of the best laughs of the year:

@kaboski8    i hope bucky larson makes negative money

@Fettknowsbest    I find it disconcerting that Kurt Cobain is dead, but the minds behind "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star" are still free to roam the Earth.

@DeathStarPR    After witnessing the trailer for the 'Bucky Larson' movie, we'd probably be more evil if we DIDN'T destroy your planet.

@sproudfoot    What's it like to be a struggling screenwriter and know that Bucky Larson was green-lighted?

@dmoody46    Anyone who pays money to see "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star" should have their citizenship removed.

@HitTheRopes    I can't wait until next week so there are no more Bucky Larson commercials

@joshinator    If the creators of this 'Bucky Larson: Born To Be A Star' movie want people to see their movie, they should stop showing previews for it.

@TheThomason    Doctors now prescribing the "Bucky Larson" trailer for those who need the last shred of light inside of them to die.

@DSmithImages    I would like to thank the studio responsible for Bucky Larson... the trailers are ensuring I will NEVER see it.

@ChadReuter    Howard the Duck is laughing at this Bucky Larson movie.

@cedenike    this show isn't interesting enough to keep having to see the trailer for bucky larson

@sarahmirosevic    Those Bucky Larson trailers are proof that there is no God.

@scottrenshaw    I feel like BUCKY LARSON is Adam Sandler saying, "OK, you think Rob Schneider sucks? Here's Nick Swardson. Happy now?"

- Based on the above comments things to do not look good for Bucky at the box office.  I have the honor of covering the film and come Friday morning the review will be posted here if you want to come back and see if it is indeed as bad as those in the Twitter universe believe it will be.
