Film Review
The third installment in the franchise still brings the laughs and even throws in a bit more action this time around along with a few new characters. It sticks with the general themes of friendship, loyalty and the importance of family but has a unique enough new story line as to not feel repetitive. Overall, it is just plain fun for everyone. (and the 3-D, it really makes no difference, save your money)
What a world the animators created this time around. An underground oasis full of bright colors, the smallest little details, and an array of dinosaurs. Around every corner is something new to behold that is perfectly blended together. This is a fantasy world, a place you want to escape to in a film, and somewhere kids will definitely find fascinating.
The great thing about the comedy in this film is it is age appropriate. There is not an abundance of crude jokes or innuendo. Even with this, it is still funny for adults. The jokes may come in spurts and a few more would have been appreciated but it still gives enough to satisfy.
