Film Fracture
Interested in being a Film Fracture reviewer? You are in the right place!
At Film Fracture (.com) we pride ourselves on being a group of individuals who love films in there entirety, but whom appreciate the multiple elements that make a film whole. If you want to write about films in the general sense of film criticism, this is not the website for you. If you want to emphasize particular portions of a film as an analyst, we would love to hear from you.
As with any position in a company there are requirements. A few of the things we are looking for in our reviewers:
Education: We believe that those who have/or are currently studying film are aware of details that others may overlook. The trained eye for film analysis is imperative in order to utilize our system for film criticism, as well as being familiar with the common terms and language of filmmaking. Therefore, our minimum requirement is a Bachelors Degree in Film Studies.
Exceptional Writing Skills: Can you write clearly, concisely, and grammatically correct? Do you have a flair for words? Does your vocabulary consist of more than three adjectives?
Reliability: New films are released every week and the reviews must be completed on strict deadlines. This makes hiring reliable people imperative to our operation.
A Love For All Movies! (This one is fairly obvious): If you will watch anything, anytime, with an open mind and no prior judgments or bias, we may have a match.
Still interested? Great.
Send your resume to careers@filmfracture.com along with a brief statement as to why you are interested in working for us and why you believe you have the qualifications. Including two samples of your work, done in the film fracture style, would be very helpful as well. If interested we will contact you soon. If we are not currently hiring at this time we will keep all resumes on file for a period of six months.
